About the Topic

The use of analytics is increasing throughout organizations, including HR departments. However, many organizations don’t know where to start on this journey or how to best utilize the analytics and data that they already have. In this program, we will explore what HR analytics means, ways that Human Resource Professionals can start thinking about analytics, and why this is truly important to stay competitive in today’s labor market. We will also discuss ways that organizations that are currently using analytics can move forward making data-driven decisions.

About the Speaker

Bill Hitchcock is a long-time member of the Loras College faculty in the Noonan School of Business. He has taught many business courses in the areas of Management, Finance, and Marketing, with a primary focus on Information Technology Management, and Business Analytics. He earned his MBA in Finance, Investments, and Banking from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his BBA in Marketing and Management Computer Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Allison Tringale is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the Loras College Noonan School of Business and the Incoming TRIHRA President. She teaches classes on Human Resource Management, Employee Selection, Organizational Behavior, Management, and more. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston and her B.A from Clarke University.
