About the Speaker: 

My name is Sharanā Baker, I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and moved to Dubuque in 2015 to attend College. I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Neuroscience from Loras College and my Masters in Social Work from Clarke University. Today, I am the Assistant Director of Inclusion and Advocacy and the Director of the First-Generation Scholarship Program at Loras College. I have seven collective years working with companies, colleges, families, clients as well as K-12 schools. I specialize in D.E.I., Mental Health, Academic Success and more. I use my experience and evidence-based data in my speaking engagements, to help normalize, educate and/or inspire the journey of life.
