About the speaker:
Joshua Hughes is an Associate at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Des Moines, Iowa, specializing in trial and appellate advocacy, litigation, and judicial clerking. Before joining Dorsey & Whitney, he served as a law clerk at the Iowa Court of Appeals for Judge David May. He holds a Juris Doctor with highest honors from Drake University Law School, where he was actively involved in the law review, moot court team, and student bar association, and completed externships with the Iowa Supreme Court and Attorney General's office. Josh is deeply engaged in his community, volunteering with the Iowa State Bar Association’s mock trial program and various local organizations. He has been recognized for his pro bono work and achievements in legal advocacy. In addition to being admitted to practice in Iowa's federal courts, he actively contributes articles on labor and employment law and participates in professional and civic activities.
Registration begins at 11:30 am. Program runs from 12-1.
