About the Program:

Join us for a high impact community session led by Amanda Goodman, a speaker known for her authenticity, clarity, and mission driven communication style. In a world where conversations feel more divided than ever, Amanda brings a grounded, practical approach to rebuilding civility—in workplaces, schools, online spaces, and everyday interactions.

During this 60 minute keynote, Amanda will explore:

  • Why civility is breaking down and how it’s affecting culture, performance, and relationships
  • How to communicate with more intention, clarity, and empathy
  • Practical tools for navigating disagreement without losing trust
  • What leaders can do to model healthier communication in their teams and communities

The session will be followed by a relaxed networking hour so attendees can continue the conversation and connect across TRIHRA, WLN, and other community groups.

This program is designed for HR leaders, business professionals, educators, and anyone who wants to elevate communication, strengthen culture, and bring respect back into daily interactions.

Speaker: Amanda Goodman

Amanda Goodman is an Emmy Award–winning journalist with nearly 20 years of television news experience, known for her fearless storytelling and unapologetic advocacy for women and children. Over the course of her career, Amanda built a reputation for tackling difficult conversations, amplifying unheard voices, and holding systems accountable.

She is the co-author of two best-selling books, with a children’s book series currently in development, and co-creator of Faith & Four Letter Words—a podcast that launched a wildly successful live speaking series alongside her best friend and former news anchor, Tara Thomas. What began as honest, unfiltered conversations quickly grew into a movement, with more than 100 live shows across the Midwest, connecting women through humor, vulnerability, faith, and truth.

Amanda’s impact extends far beyond the stage. She has a social media reach of more than 25 million, where her candid voice resonates with audiences seeking authenticity over polish. She also co-hosts a digital streaming morning show three times a week, bringing real-life conversations into a live, interactive space.

Her work and advocacy have earned national and community recognition, including induction into the Slippery Rock University Hall of Fame and being named Youth Advocate of the Year by the YWCA. Amanda is widely recognized for her outspoken commitment to protecting children, empowering women, and refusing to stay silent when it matters most.

She believes in telling the truth—even when it’s uncomfortable—and choosing what’s right over what’s popular.
